Title: Transforming Life Sciences with Applied AI
Date: Tuesday, November 15, 2022
Time: 15:00 PM Central European Summer Time
Duration: 2 hour
Location: Starhotels ECHO, Viale Andrea Doria, 4, Milan
Summary
Artificial Intelligence is driving the transformation of several industries. Today, Life Sciences is on the cusp of a similar transformation. We are already seeing the use of AI in key areas, such as drug discovery. Winners will be those who are most effective in combining data, expertise and AI to create and deliver new types of value to their stakeholders. In this event we will explore concrete ideas on how you can leverage AI in your day-to-day work to make better, faster and more efficient decisions.
Specifically, we will have the following sessions:
1. Applying AI to Find the Next Blockbuster and Getting It to Patients Faster
Just as sports team complement expertise with models to select the best players, we can apply AI on connected data from molecular structure to clinical trial evidence to HTA to price to sales to identify high potential assets, reduce time to patient access and maximize commercial potential across the lifecycle from launch to post LoE. This talk will discuss how we can do this.
2. Driving Market Access Success in Italy through Data and Applied AI
What’s up with AIFA?
Overview and applications of innovative P&R solutions that leverage IQVIA’s data assets, Artificial Intelligence & Data Integration expertise. In this session we will illustrate how to gain deeper insights into AIFA’s assessments, projecting you into next generation access strategies
3. Let the Machine Read and Write for You - Leveraging Large Language Models to Transform Insight Generation and New Document Creation
Showcase of practical applications from IQVIA’s partnership with OpenAI. We will demonstrate how we can leverage GPT3 to summarize literature, generate themes from primary market research or voice of the customer and generate the first draft of documents such as value dossiers.
4. Combining Humans and Machines to better inform decision-making processes in Pharma: From Analytics to Decision Intelligence
How can a pharma company increase the impact of data in the organization, moving from analytical reports to decision processes fed by data and AI/ML algorithms? We discuss steps and challenges of this journey with various use cases using patient and commercial data, such as discovery of new fix dose combinations, source of business identification, HCPs & HCOs engagement and potential coverage optimization.
5. Spreading the Message: How Graph Analytics Can Identify the Most Influential HCPs
Medical Affairs and Commercial teams often need to identify the most influential stakeholders in a given market for different objectives (e.g., influence change of new treatment guidelines, identify right partners for a publication/clinical trial study). We demonstrate how we can build network models of the many complex relationships between HCPs and how novel graph analytical approaches can be applied to identify and score Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and optimise target lists to have the most impact
6. How to enable large-scale AIML programs and common mistakes to avoid
Whether you are a targeted affiliate or part of a regional/global team responsible for a multi-country AIML program, you should have experienced that scalability and adoption are the main challenges to overcome. We want to deep dive into it, discuss about industry success stories, explaining how technology can support and what are the most common mistakes to avoid.
